Senor Roach: Towers is a 3D platform arcade style game that aims to bring the fun of classic video games to mobile and tablet users of all ages. We are currently developing for the iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and subsequent models. We also plan to release for Android devices and tablets that meet the minimum requirements for Senor Roach: Towers. We are limiting the generation of devices supported because when it comes to graphical fidelity, we’re aiming high. Our goal is to showcase 3D assets and textures on 2D background with as much detail as can be allowed, while producing a functional and smooth experience for the player.

We at Iron Roach are not here to make money. We are here to make video games. We believe that making money is a byproduct of making great games and should never be prioritized at the cost of quality. It’s with that mindset that we have created this game free of concepts such as free-to-play and paywalls that would potentially influence the way we design and balance the game. When you buy an Iron Roach game, you’re buying a full game made with only the player in mind.
Senor Roach: Towers offers gameplay that is
engaging and a joy to experience. The team at
Iron Roach grew up on games like Donkey Kong,
Pac Man, so when we started pre-production,
we knew we wanted an one screen platformer.
Senor Roach: Towers aim is to bring the genre to
a new generation of gamers and bestow upon
them the same great experience that we had as
children.
As our hero, Senor Roach, players will traverse
twenty unique levels strategically finding ways
to stop these angry hungry frogs from eating his
friends. Using touch screen technology, it will
maintain that easy classic control functions.
The platform elements of the game will require
up, down, left, right movement, no capability
to jump, and one action button.Iron Roach
knows that the tactile feel of a physical buttons
is hard to replace when working with touch
screens so we are putting massive amounts of focus into making the controls feel intuitive and responsive during play.
The levels in Senor Roach: Towers are all set in the forest so expect to tread through variety of different scenes such as, trees, house, mansions, pyramids, and of course, TOWERS. all while taking in a musical score that only nature can provide. We want the different levels to emphasize not only an organic nature of the outdoors, but the dangerous encounters that roaches go through as well. Each level will come packed with different scenery and gets more intense the further levels being achieved.
Senor Roach: Towers will involve time effectiveness to cap off the difficulty various stages in the game. These will be true tests of a player’s fast thinking and endurance, challenging the player to employ all they’ve learned to survive these imposing battles.
Iron Roach Entertainment is developing a retro classic arcade style game with 3D elements called "Senor Roach: Towers". Your mission is to try to break free the candy roaches inside a piñata at the top of the tower. With only a sledgehammer piñata stick, you must reach to the piñata. But better watch out... Because the hungry angry frogs are guarding the piñata and coming after you!
As the name suggests, Senor Roach: Towers is
not a tower defense game. Iron Roach wants
bring back the classic Donkey Kong era into a
3D platform. We do this by creating 3D assets,
characters, and textures on a 2D background.
This story behind Senor Roach displays
courageous action that demonstrates the
willpower that roaches possess to survive.
That justifies why roaches have managed to
live over 320 million years.
In Senor Roach: Towers, these hungry frogs captured most of the roaches and attempts to throw a fiesta to celebrate the captives they've acquired. Just when they thought they were going to have a tasty treat, our hero Senor Roach steps on to the scene. With his outgoing and fearless personality to rescue the captured roaches trapped in the pinata, he decides to have a invade on the frogs' party and attempt to save his roach friends. This makes the frogs angry, but with the help of his Pinata stick friend who could turn himself into a smashing sledgehammer, together they are up for the challenge.
While the game is about survival and rescue, this will be appropriate for all ages. A cartoony art style and the lack of any gore will make this game safe for even the youngest of children to enjoy.
