Selena Dugan-Fields is a Eugene based visual artist and illustrator. She has had a lifelong passion for painting, drawing, and digital artwork. Ms. Dugan-Fields finished her illustration degree from the Pacific Northwest College of Art and is currently working as a free-lance illustrator and artist. She has exhibited in many galleries and shops over the years, in both one-person and multi-artist shows. More recently she has focused increasingly on poster art, and digital illustration.
Ms. Dugan-Fields' themes often invoke the natural world, incorporating plant life and native species. Her final thesis project for her illustration degree was a series of screen prints celebrating the symbiotic relationship between various plant and insect species native to Oregon.
Other series have been based on crystals, birds, wild animals, and mycology (studying the formation of naturally occurring mushroom structures). Her preferred mediums are digital illustration, watercolor, screen-printing, and mixed-media.
Selena's other interests include biking, swimming, being out in nature, exploring, and playing computer and video games.
